FUNDRAISER MINIBIKE

Usually, when social media calls upon me to participate ,in  what I believe are mostly silly games, I ignore the post and just get on with whatever I’m doing and don’t waste my time on it.

Yesterday I was “nominated” by one of my team (family) members “Frank Van Homoet”, to post a picture of myself , nominate 5 other people to do the same OR pay 50€ to charity .

This got me thinking (for once) and why would I spend time to make sure I don’t have to pay for charity ? It’s times like these that others need our help . It’s times like these we can do something back to other people that  might suffer more from the whole corona situation.

As a minibike enthousiast , I would like to be able to keep on practicing our fabulous sport, far after this crisis is over. That means we need dedicated people to make it happen for us and I think, at the moment, it’s these people,  operating in the event sector, that are amongst the people that have been affected the most when looking at it from an economical point of view.

So here’s a new challenge.

I’ve started a fund raiser to raise money for MINIBIKECHAMPS and MINIBIKEWORLDCHAMPS to make sure that the next upcoming events, where we’re all looking forward to , can be organized with the same passion and dedication as before, without having to worry about any financial issues.

Instead of taking time to post a picture so I don’t have to pay 50€ to charity , I’ll be the first one to put 50€ in the fund raisers so we can have some great minibike events that will put a smile on a lot of people’s faces.

I’ve got more than 1000 facebook friends so I’ve set the goal at 5000€ . No matter how big or small your donation is , it will keep our sport alive so any amount is highly appreciated
